SJO-Tambor CR

Woke early and went back to the airport – the Sansa terminal. It is small, kind of just an airstrip.

There is another woman from NH, and several other solo travelers.

Once we got up in the air, the view was lovely.

The Tambor airport is literally a landing strip. But it was paved.

It was then an hour taxi ride to Blue Surf Sanctuary. I could not have chosen a place further from town. I’ll have plenty of walking this week.

I just walked into town, and am getting some lunch. Cheviche and cafe con leche. Then I’ll grab some groceries and head back to rest before my first surf lesson.
